Dr. Gellman’s pediatric medical experience over a long career includes an internship in pediatrics at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, trainee experience in cancer control, child psychiatry and Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Washington University. Currently he works as Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine and Clinical Professor-Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology as well as Medical Director of WINGS BJC and Medical Director of After Hours Pediatric Urgent Care. At present he serves on the Pain Management Task Force, Washington University School of Medicine Admissions Committee, Chairman of Ethics Committee at Washington University School of Medicine, Physician Advisory Committee-Healthcare USA and Pallative Care Task Force. Dr. Gellman has served as President of the St. Louis Pediatric Society, President of St. Louis Children’s Hospital Medical Staff, twice been named one of ‘The Best Doctors in America’ and was awarded Pediatrician of the Year by the St. Louis Pediatric Society.
